The 2007 Weekend

2006 Low Bucks Car Club & Eddie Cochran Weekend
Each year the Low Bucks Car Club hosts its car show & swap meet and the Eddie Cochran Weekend. In 2006 the show and swap meet celebrated its 20th year.
On Friday June 16 was the cruise-in & social and free drive-in theater.

Saturday June 17Saturday started with a hospice walk/run at 7:30 am and a city-wide rummage sale. Old car clubs were invited to reunion at Freeborn County Fairgrounds...what a great way to see old faces.
The Freeborn County Historical Society hosted the Marion Ross and Eddie Cochran exhibit from 1-5pm.
To cap the day off there was a 26 mile cruise that finished in downtown Albert Lea with a street dance. The band was the Fantastic Cadillacs. If my memory is correct, there were 350 cars in the cruise.
Sunday June 18
The 20th annual Low Bucks Car Club Show & Swap was held at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. There were 40 classes for cars, trucks, and motorcycles...with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for each. 50% of the car show proceeds went to the Eddie Cochran Scholarship Fund.
